I have always been involved in the community, during my US Navy (22 yrs), my 25 years as an active member of the Junior Chamber (Jaycees) and the 16 years here with Lockheed Martin, Bangor.
I volunteered for more than 20 years with United Way in South Carolina and joined our KCUW Board as soon as I got here and am proud to say as President a few years later signed the agreement that created the Community Center we are in today
I moved to the pacific NW in 1990. I was raised in the Philadelphia area but moved here from Colorado. I consider this my home after 31 years. I raised 4 kids here and have 3 grandchildren.
My background started as electronic technician and after I moved to Washington, I found my new calling working for the Non-Profit sector. I started at the Bremerton YMCA in 1993 and left there in 2010. I then began employment with the Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center in 2011 and am currently the Manager of the facility. My passion of working with the community was the driver to start serving on the United Way and the Bremerton Chamber Board of Directors. I have never looked back from the transition of working with for-profits to Non-Profits.
