By addressing these immediate transportation barriers, we keep local parents on the road so they can safely get their children to school, attend vital medical checkups, and remain financially stable.

The Access to Baby and Child Dentistry (ABCD) program focuses on giving children a healthy start by preventing early tooth decay. Recommended by the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, this initiative pairs low-income families with local providers trained to deliver gentle, early childhood oral evaluations. Exams are designed to be entirely stress-free, taking place comfortably while the child is held in their parent’s arms rather than a traditional dental chair.

Our seasonal care packages deliver immediate comfort, dignity, and relief to individuals experiencing acute hardships or housing instability. Depending on the seasonal weather demands, these direct-distribution packets contain essential items such as toothbrushes and paste, personal hygiene wipes, sunscreen, socks, light rain ponchos, bottled water, hats, gloves, and high-calorie nutrition bars.

This program delivers free, age-appropriate books directly to the doorsteps of registered children from birth up to their 5th birthday across Kitsap County, regardless of family income brackets. By split-funding the $2.10 book cost with private donors, we remove the financial barriers to early childhood literacy, helping children build crucial emotional maturity, better developmental coping skills, and higher long-term educational goals.
