United Way Kitsap: Health, Education & Financial Stability

At United Way of Kitsap County, we believe that tracking local impact requires focusing on the core building blocks of a resilient community. We consolidate our local fundraising, corporate sponsorships, and volunteer networks into three distinct, specialized pillars: Health, Education, and Financial Stability.

By addressing systemic challenges and providing immediate emergency relief, we ensure that every dollar invested and every hour volunteered stays right here in our local community. Explore our three key initiatives below to see how we are building a stronger, more equitable Kitsap County.

Healthcare Access & Immediate Relief

Ensuring every resident has access to essential wellness resources and immediate, dignified relief during times of hardship. We bridge critical gaps in local healthcare through targeted initiatives like ABCD Dentistry and United Way Care Packages.

Early Literacy & Equal Opportunity

Providing local children with an equitable start in life to ensure better long-term development. Through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, we mail free, high-quality books monthly to children across Kitsap County to foster early literacy.

Crisis Mitigation & Resource Matching

Keeping local families safely housed and supported through sudden financial crises. From United Way Good Neighbors emergency aid to the annual Mail Carrier Food Drive and Volunteer Kitsap, we protect our community’s foundation.
